8th Annual 3on3 Tournament TBA
On March 29th 2008, The Beta Alpha chapter of Alpha Xi Delta at the University of Texas will hold the 7th Annual 3on3 Basketball Tournament. Teams of 3-5 students will compete to raise money for the Austin Miracle League at Town and Country.
Last year the Beta Alpha Chapter had their most sccessful event yet with over 35 teams participating including our first ever all girl bracket. It was a wonderful event that raised enough money to sponsor two teams of children to play in the Austin Miracle Leage for the next year.
This year we hope to surpass what we did last year. We hope to have at least 50 Teams participating and we hope to raise at least $10,000 to assist children who may not be able to afford the registration fees by sponsors teams for the seasons to come. This year the event will be bigger and better then ever. We have instilled many changes to help the tournament run smooth and keep everyone happy the entire day. Visit the tournmanet section to find out more information about improved rules and prizes.
